Once again my crew get a chance to work on a campaign for s.Oliver in Berlin. We did some nasty stuff with color, powder and lot's of everything. Oh yeah, we used RED EPIC with Canon EF mount so we used our L glass. A few HMIs were in the house and the show was ready to roll. I will keep you posted when campaign is going public. Cheers.

This is first Mark's first music video after competing in HTZ (Hrvatska Trazi Zvijezdu) talent show in Croatia in 2011.

We drive go-karts just for fun and we drive as a team at racing events that are being kept at the indoor Karting Arena Zagreb.

At II. Zagreb Endurance Race we won 3rd place. Next time we will take the gold.

ANTENA ZAGREB's action PLAY MUSIC - STOP HARASSMENT experienced its peak in the crowded sports hall elementary school Ivan Goran Kovacic in Zagreb where 2.c and their guests held concert to remember. The show received an award for the best treatment - an instrument with which to form a real school band.

At the concert many guests, Mayor Milan Bandic, who on behalf of the City handed musical instruments to 2.c through hockey players, basketball players and a number of pop stars sang with the young singers.

We hope that the message from 2.c and their classmates was loud enough and we hope that their parents, teachers and others who were present in this hall to celebrate the day against bullying will pass this message to the others as well.

Serious testing is taking place with B_TRAM - cable cam rig that can go 50km/h over 100m of distance carrying 5kg camera on a remote 3 axis gimbal with live video feed and our special anti vibration system. Concert of pop-rock band Parni Valjak in Arena Zagreb was our first gig in Arena Zagreb and we went for 90m across the 10.000 people. This ad was shot on a Canon 5DmkII supported by the B1_RIG, Senna One minute crane, Sachtler FSB 4 tripod and a Libec TR320 dolly. We used some L glass : 14mm f2.8L, 24mm f3.5 TS-E, 24mm f1.4L, 50mm f1.2L, 70-200mm f2.8L IS II. Light setup was 1 octodome 3200K 1kW, 6x IANIRO 3200K 800W units.

This experimental video was made with 2 goPRO HD HERO cameras attached to a RC HELI PROTOS 500 that spins at about 2700-2900 rpm. It is a base for upcoming product I am developing with my friends Robert and Davor from HELIFOTO. This is just a test of flight agilty of Protos 500. In the near future this powerful little RC Heli will carry a carbon fibre camera gimbal for goPRO camera, 2 axis remote directioning and live video feed to the ground unit via A/G link. More info on this subject in following weeks.

This is a making of photoshoot for a S.OLIVER brand for collection Fall/Winter 2011/2012. The shoot took place in busy London streets and few interiors, with many well known EU and US models.

Vladimir Kocis Zec's "Uzmi sve il' ostavi" music video was shot in Fala, Slovenia in an medieval castle from 1245. and in Zagreb, Croatia.
Two young couples on a weekend found them self exploring some parts of the castle while the band was gathering in grand ball room. Of course they finish their journey together.

First workshop held with radio ANTENA ZAGREB ended with the product/music video performed by "18BYTHEROOM" and it's called "2 jaja i mesni".

This is a short promotional web video for Croatian tobacco corporation TDR d.d. and their new RONHILLKLUB.net web site.
We used 2x Canon 5dmk2s with some L glass : 14mm f2.8L, 24mm f3.5L TS-E, 24mm f1.4L, 50mm f1.2L, 100mm f2.8L IS macro, 135mm f2.0L, 70-200mm f2.8L IS II. Support was there in a form of Sachtler FSB 2 and FSB 4, Libec dolly TR320 and a Steadicam Pilot. Light came from IANIRO 6x800 tungstens with gels and a few smaller LED units.
Special thing about this was B_HEXA, hexacopter with GoPro HERO HD camera onboard 2 axis remote head (00.55) that was flown by Robert Godrijan (HELIFOTO.hr).

B1_RIG is a shoulder shooting accessory for DSLR shooters. This aluminum, hand assembled SMALL series shooting rig comes with Manfrotto 357 sliding plate for adjusting distance to DSLR/viewfinder. Variety of different angles of holding/supporting handle can be achieved as well as the distance from the shoulder so the DSLR operators of any height and constitution can feel as one with this rig. Any standard video tripod plate can be attached at the bottom of the rig so the transition from tripod shooting to shoulder shooting is a matter of seconds.

This simple setup was shot on a Canon 5dmk2 + Sachtler FSB4 + Libec TR320 Dolly + B-rig-ONE + some L glass : 24mm f3.5L TS-e, 24mm f1.4L, 50mm f1.2L, 100mm f2.8L macro IS, 70-200mm f2.8L IS II. We used IANIRO 3200K lights plus a DEDOLIGHT set. Sound was recorded via Sennheiser 416 + S302 mixer.

Together with MOTIONCLEAR Ltd. Munchen we created two of this movies for potentional client and business investors. Story is about a new housing option in Olympia area in Munchen, Germany.

After shooting a simple TVC for local ATP tennis tournament I've found my self with some extra, non used high speed shots. Nothing special, two guys playing a match, only thing weird is that a Weisscam HS-2 was looking in their direction. Another funny fact is that this $$$.$$$ cam was looking through my Canon L glass !!! Yep, 300mm f2.8 IS L, 600mm f4.0L, 135mm f2.0L were on it. 24mm ARRI prime was being used in only one shot. All focusing was done without ff unit or puller, like allways...

Flying not one but TWO GoPRO HD HERO cameras on a RC HELI was an idea that just happened. How? We wanted to put one on the nose of Protos but we had to use something on the tail to balance the weight ... so why not using almost the same weight ? So the second HD HERO went on. This is our experience. Yea and we didn't crashed it. Yet.

Shooting a whole music video in just one single take? Idea is not new but it was a nice opportunity to try flying my Steadicam Pilot in one continuing shot with 24mm f1,4L on a 5dmk2. In most of the cases I tend to use 14mm f2.8L lens but this time I decided for a little bit tighter angle. 3 and a half minutes doesn't sound like much but there are many obstacles, stairs, edges even dogs to stumble on the way. And the story ended where it all began - in a bar !
The shooting took place in Ceminac in Baranja county in eastern part of Croatia.

Two days of my first ever WORKSHOP that took place as a part of annual PHOTODAYS ROVINJ (Rovinj, Croatia). Workshop theme was AUDI R8 Spyder - automotive video with DSLR technology. Me and my crew (Ivan Cvirn, Elvir Tabakovic) had a chance to share our DSLR knowledge with other attendees (I must say I didn't expect that much interest in our first workshop), work as a team, shoot, edit and then on the evening of second day (closing of the event) we had a chance to present our work and result that came out of this workshop. It is a simple 4min video consisting from a Making Of video followed by actual short AUDI R8 Spyder video. We had something like 32 hrs with sleep/eat/rest/shoot/edit/setup/teach time included.
It was a whole lot of fun !

This is pilot episode of a short 4,30 minute BCTV cooking show. Idea is to cook a meal for a very small amount of money and never break the budget limit.
This a HDSLR muticam 3x 5dmkII, 24mm f3.5 TS-e, 85mm f1.2L, 90mm f2.8 TS-e. Libec dolly tr320 is being used here and a set of dedolights and 3x800watt tungsten lights stopped down with filters. We use sachtler tripods FSB2, FSB4 and a custom handheld rig. Sound is recorded on 2 HDSLRs with 2 Sony's lavalier mics.
Shopping was done with Steadicam Pilot + 5dmkII + 14mm f2.8L

This is a short event video we shot in one weekend during one and only croatian extreme sports event in Osijek.
Light came in throughout many of fine L lenses like 14mm f2.8L, 15mm fish, 24mm f1.4L, 24mm 3.5 TS-E, 50mm f1.2L, 135mm f2.0L, 300mm f2.8L IS. Some shots were flown on steadicam PILOT and some just happened.

(PLIVA : It is the people) This is a motivation-industrial campaign for well known croatian pharmacy industry giant PLIVA motivates it's employees. Campaign consists of three short movies.

We've shot two of the movies in PLIVA's offices, using 6x 800watt Ianiro lights to keep walls white and our weapon of choice was Canon 5d + 50mm f1.2L

This is a funny version (DIRECTOR'S CUT) in which PLIVA motivates her employees in order to send out the massage that even corporations have a hart and a human touch.

One movie was shot both on several locations in Zagreb and in the ALFA FILM studio.

This Canon 1D mkIV extreme low-light test was entirely shot in night conditions. Only available lights were coming from street lamps, TV set or some usually unusable source of light. None color corrections or brightness/contrast were made on this clip. Most of shots were made at insanely high ISO-12800 to explain how much light this sensor can pick-up from darkness. I mean, there is grain running around but I was determined not to go lower value ISO. (I had to do that on one occasion only because the picture was blown up...insane). I had this camera for a FEW HOURS only so the "story" and everything around it was made "under way". It was cold as hell and the clock was ticking, few friends helped with their acting and voice sync afterwards. Last but not the least important - the music. It was played and recorded "under way" and practically in the moment of editing, on the same MacBookPro Unibody 17". Additional LIBEC TR320 dolly system was used for a few shots, a small Sachtler FSB2 tripod was to carry all the weight...and a LOT's of glass looked into the dark: 14mm f2.8L, 24mm f1.4L, 24mm f3.5L TS-E, 50mm f1.2L, 85mm f1.2L, 100mm f2.8macro, 135mm f2.0L, 300mm f2.8L IS, 600mm f4.0L IS.
We used Canon 5D mk2 on closing shots and for "making of" video.

This short video about 4 young scientists was made in a hype and the purpose was to play it on a big screen during promotion of LOREAL - WOMEN IN SCIENCE event.

We did the custom works on "The Car" and we didn't report any public gadhering on Osijek city's main square. JEA JEA.

Apples? I've put a 30something volountieres onto chair in the middle of the street and gave them each an apple. The result that is here has an unique audio background : rythm was made out of eating apple sounds + acoustic guitar !

The One with shoes was elected by the media as a best TV AD of the 2009 elections campaign.

DAJ 5 is humanitarian initiative for helping JIL (unit of emergency care) - child care KBO in Osijek,Croatia.
This is the first of four TVC's and it comes in 30 sec version followed by the 15 sec version.
Shooting took part in Split on Bacvice beach in early hours. I used 5Dmk2 coupled with 50mm f1.2L, 135mm f2.0L, 24mm f1.4L. For a few shots I used Steadicam Pilot and for some shots I used Libec TR320 mobile dolly system but the most exiting thing for me is that I participated in composing a music track for this TVC. 30 sec and 15 sec are slightly different but anyway, it was fun to actually USE my piano.
